Follow all instructions from walk leaders and trainers and respect guidance given.
Maintain control of my dog at all times on a 4–6 ft leash (no retractables).
Refrain from allowing nose-to-nose greetings or off-leash interaction of any kind.
Respect the space of other dogs and handlers.
Notify the team of any incidents, concerns, or changes in my dog’s health or behaviour.

All dogs are to remain on leash at all times!Leashes to be no longer than 6′ in lengthNO nose-to-nose meetings between any dogs. No greeting at all. It is expected that you already have a good foundation and understanding of your dog’s body language, cues, triggers and thresholds. We reserve the right to ask you to leave if you

I understand that:
Pack walks involve proximity and interaction between multiple dogs in public or outdoor
settings. Although every reasonable effort is made to maintain safety, unpredictable behaviour by animals can
occur, and risks of injury to dogs, owners, or bystanders may be present. My participation and my dog’s participation are voluntary, and I assume all associated
risks.

I certify that:
My dog is up to date on all core vaccinations or has valid titer testing, and is in good health.
I have disclosed all known behavioural issues, including aggression, reactivity, or anxiety.

Liability Release

I understand that dog training, even when conducted with professionalism and care, involves inherent risks. Dogs may act unpredictably under stress, in new environments, or in response to training stimuli.

By signing this agreement, I acknowledge and agree to the following:

Voluntary Participation

I am voluntarily enrolling my dog in training services with Moxie Dog Training and assume all risks associated with participation.

No Guarantee of Outcomes

I understand that while the Trainer will make every reasonable effort to help achieve my goals, training results cannot be guaranteed. My commitment to practicing and reinforcing training outside of sessions directly affects results.

Assumption of Responsibility

I accept full and unconditional responsibility for my dog’s actions before, during, and after training. I am financially responsible for any injury or damage caused by my dog to any person, animal, or property.

Limitation of Liability

I agree that I will not hold Moxie Dog Training, its owners, staff, independent contractors, or affiliates liable for any injury, illness, death, loss, or damage to any person, dog, or property that may occur during or as a result of training services, including incidents occurring off-leash.

Veterinary Care & Emergencies

In the event my dog requires emergency veterinary care during training and I cannot be reached, I authorize the Trainer to seek treatment from the nearest available veterinarian. I agree to be fully responsible for all associated costs.

Release & Indemnification

I agree to release, indemnify, and hold harmless Terra Sevrens, employees, independent contractors, and affiliates from any and all claims, liabilities, costs, damages, or expenses (including legal fees) arising out of or related to:

Any injury or illness to myself, my dog, or others

Any damage to property caused by my dog

Participation in pack walks or related activities

Terra and her team will not be liable for any injuries, accidents, diseases, viruses, illnesses, escapes, losses, or death to any dog caused by circumstances, animals, or other people.

I voluntarily waive my right to sue Terra Sevrens for any reason, including negligence or injury, and understand this is a legally binding release. This waiver remains valid for all future participation unless revoked in writing.

By signing below, I acknowledge and fully accept the inherent risks involved in dog training and behaviour work. I voluntarily and irrevocably waive, release, and relinquish any and all rights to pursue legal action against Moxie Dog Training, including its owners, employees, contractors, agents, or representatives.

This includes, without limitation, claims arising from:

Injury or illness

Property damage

Loss or incident involving myself, my dog, or third parties

This waiver includes claims based on alleged negligence, except in cases of gross negligence or intentional misconduct as defined by applicable law.

I understand that even well-trained dogs can behave unpredictably, and I accept full responsibility for my dog’s actions at all times.

This waiver remains in effect for the duration of services and survives termination of training.

Moxie Dog Training is committed to protecting your privacy in accordance with the Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA) of British Columbia.

We collect personal information solely to provide dog training, walking, behavioural support, and related services. This may include:

Address and emergency contacts

Dog information and relevant health or behavioural details

2. Use and Disclosure

Your information will only be used for service-related purposes. We do not sell or share your information unless:

You provide explicit consent

Disclosure is required to provide services (e.g., emergency veterinary care)

Required by law

3. Storage and Security

All personal information is stored securely and protected against unauthorized access, use, or disclosure.

4. Access and Correction

You may request access to or correction of your personal information at any time.

5. Retention

Information is retained only as long as necessary to fulfill service or legal requirements.

6. Consent

By engaging with Moxie Dog Training, you consent to the collection and use of your personal information as outlined above.

I agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Moxie Dog Training, its owners, employees, contractors, and representatives from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

My dog’s behaviour, including injury to people, animals, or property

Inaccurate or incomplete information I provide about my dog

Actions or omissions by myself, household members, or my dog

Third-party claims related to training, walking, transport, or group activities

I acknowledge that dog behaviour is inherently unpredictable and accept all associated risks.

This indemnification survives termination of services.

I grant permission for photos or videos taken during training or walks to be used for marketing or educational purposes.

No refunds or credits for no-shows or cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance
